Gran Canaria Business Week 2013 recap & preview for 2014

Gran Canaria Business Week is an annual internet conference / unconference in Gran Canaria, Spain. Set in a casual relaxed partly outdoors setting, it is an “unconference” where the participants create the conference.

Listen to event founder Hans Jorgen Lysglimt Johansen introduce the event below:

The conference caters to independent minded business people from all walks of life. This is a different kind of conference, clothing is smart casual, the bar will be open.

If you are doing internet activity, internet marketing or internet sales in any form in any location this conference is for you.
We focus on great people, learning, networking – having a good and interesting time. The conference gives participants and their families an opportunity to extend their winter stay in Gran Canaria and still be productive. You will get a professional receit for your attendance that you can use towards deducting your attendance (and stay in Gran Canaria) as a business expense (thus the name Business Week).

The first 2013 Gran Canaria Business Week was a success, attended by more than 50 people from at least 6 different nations. We will make each new year bigger and better, our goal is to eventually make this a massive event attended by hundreds or even thousands of great people.

The topic for the 2014 conference is “Internet marketing and the sales process”. We believe everyone is selling something, and the internet is what drives sales now.

Program details to be announced, follow the page and the event page as new program points are announced.
